This weekend boozer and I were lucky to host San Francisco friends for a sojourn in Ojai.   Four days later, still missing them, but we soldier on as best we can.  We marked the occasion with pitchers of Ojai margaritas, tri- tip, wedge salads, and crab cakes for light spa style appetizers and then there was the risotto for 20.  Oddly enough, no one wanted ice cream but everyone wanted more margaritas.   Recipe follows.... 

 

     Triple Citrus Margaritas   All juice must be fresh squeezed.  If it's not, you might as well just have a nice glass of wine.    Juice of 4 Ojai oranges   As many limes as you can carry (at least 6)  2 lemons  2oz simple syrup  4oz orange liqueur   2 cups tequila  serves 1

As many limes as you can carry (at least 6)

2 lemons

2oz simple syrup

4oz orange liqueur 

2 cups tequila
